USB interface dongle connect to the series of KMC switches by CAT5/5E/5+/6 cable, distance between the KDU01 and the KMC0104/0108/0116 switch is up to 500 feet.
Bus powered, hot pluggable and port name auto reconfigured, DDC2B/ EDID supports all computers.

Hot pluggable - Add or remove computers without having to power down the switch
Keyboard and mouse emulation - computers boot even when the console focus is elsewhere.

Port names automatically reconfigured when station sequence is changed
